<guardian-mqtt-port>(commonly1883or8883) - Topic:
<guardian-mqtt-topic> - QoS:

Protocol: MQTT
Broker Host: mqtt.guardian.example.com
Broker Port: 1883
Topic: guardian/lpr/events
QoS: 1
Retain: false
Payload Format: JSON
Publish Trigger: On EventExpected behavior
After saving settings and generating an LPR event:
- Camera publishes event to configured topic
- Guardian subscriber receives and processes event
Verify success
- Topic receives messages at expected cadence
- Guardian event appears in expected stream/dashboard
- Camera does not show repeated publish failures
Screenshots & Video
Use this consistent pattern when adding media.
1) Camera endpoint settings screen
What to highlight: broker host, port, topic, QoS, retain, payload format.
2) Test publish clip
What to show in the clip: save action, test event trigger, publish success + Guardian receipt.
